In the spring of 2004 I moved from Virginia, where I was born and raised, to St. Louis, Missouri, to start medical school at Washington University. Rather than drive straight to St. Louis, my college roommate, Mike Del Bueno, and I undertook that great adventure… The American Road Trip. From May 11th to June 11th, we were on the road. We traveled through nineteen states visiting national parks and friends… and taking pictures. All told the shutter snapped nearly 1500 times. This website is a chronicle of our journey and a place for me to display my favorite pictures from the trip.
